Wolf Convection Steam Oven

Cooks have long appreciated the way steam cooking preserves nutrients and keeps foods moist. Restaurant owners have relied on commercial convection steam ovens for years. Now Wolf makes convection and steam accomplish delicious feats that are impossible for other ovens. Enter the Wolf Convection Steam Oven.

At Clarke, New England's official Sub-Zero showroom and test kitchen, you can see this incredible appliance in action. Witness a pound of dry pasta, a cup of water, chopped vegetables and stewed tomatoes placed on a shallow tray turn into the most delicious meal you've ever eaten...in a matter of minutes...without pots, colanders or any mess. Imagine putting a carton of a dozen eggs in the oven (with the carton!) and within ten minutes having perfect hard-boiled eggs.

Forget to defrost your dinner steaks? Go from freezer to table creating a succulent, juicy filet mignon in little more than a half-hour. The Wolf Gourmet modes allow the Wolf Convection Steam Oven to actually sense the size and type of food you place inside and cook it to perfection; many times without timers and recipes...you truly have to see it to believe it. Sauté vegetables with beautiful caramelization, without adding a drop of fat to the dish. Bake light crusts that glisten without an egg wash and rejuvenate leftovers to look and taste like your original restaurant meal. On one of the Wolf Gourmet settings, you simply put a selection of frozen appetizers in the oven and you're free to take care of your other cocktail party finishing touches while Wolf adds heat and humidity in exactly the right proportions to make your selections taste like you crafted them from scratch all day long.

Largest Convection Steam Oven on the Market

When you see the outside of this beautiful, streamlined oven you couldn't imagine cooking a turkey or large roast inside. Looks are deceiving. The Wolf Convection Steam Oven has the largest interior on the market and can easily fit a 20-pound turkey with spectacular results and room to spare. Thanksgiving will never be the same again.

One of the most incredible features of this oven has nothing to do with cooking. It's the ease of installation. Most steam ovens must be plumbed, which adds complexity, location concerns and additional cost. The Wolf Convection Steam Oven is self-contained. There is an easily fillable tray in the front of the oven that requires only tap water and will steam for days until signaling to refill. This means you can place this oven anywhere in your kitchen without the services of a plumber.

Clarke's showroom consultants offer this caveat: this is not a microwave. It can easily slide into the place of a built-in microwave (which many homeowners are doing today), however you can't heat liquids (like coffee or soup) in the Wolf Convection Steam Oven, and you can't make popcorn. However, there's little else you can't accomplish with this remarkable appliance.
