Clarke, New England’s Official Sub-Zero & Wolf Showroom and Test Kitchen, is pleased to announce two recent accolades, once again highlighting the customer-focused innovation and leadership that continue to be the bedrock of the company.
In its October 2017 issue, Kitchen & Bath Design News (KBDN) presented its inaugural “KBDN 50,” highlighting the top 50 innovators in the kitchen and bath industry. President Sean Clarke was named to that list for breaking the mold in showroom design and operations. In its introduction to the new annual awards, KBDN acknowledged the industry’s focus on great designers and its penchant for recognizing and rewarding creativity and artistry. It then explained that the impetus for the "KBDN 50" is to highlight the fact that the industry continues to prosper not only due to great design, but also through the “efforts of innovators who aren’t afraid to lead the way and chart their own course, whether through design, education, technology, showroom development, community service, new business models or specialty areas that evolve alongside today’s ever-changing consumers.”
The "KBDN 50" were nominated by their peers and carefully reviewed by the KBDN nominating committee. According the editorial team, Sean Clarke was highlighted with 49 other “extraordinary kitchen and bath professionals who are changing the industry right now.” The page 39 profile of Clarke states that “under Sean Clarke’s direction, the company took on its most ambitious project, opening 7 Tide in the Boston Seaport…the prestigious project led to an invitation from Sub-Zero and Wolf for Sean Clarke to become the co-chair of their new Distributor Marketing Advisory Board.”
In the perfect follow-up, the Builders and Remodelers of Greater Boston (BRAGB) showed that Clarke’s showroom success goes beyond just innovative design and leadership at the top. On October 12th, a prestigious PRISM award was given to Clarke 7 Tide Showroom Manager Jeremy McCulla at the BRAGB annual awards ceremony. McCulla was recognized as the region's Customer Service Professional of the Year, reflecting his willingness to go above and beyond with his staff to create an unparalleled customer service experience in the Clarke showroom at 7 Tide Street in Boston Seaport. Along with McCulla’s individual achievement award, a Gold PRISM Award was given to Clarke for the 7 Tide showroom design.
After more than 25 years of blazing trails in the kitchen and bath industry, Clarke is extraordinarily proud of these achievements. Congratulations to Sean and Jeremy and and thanks to the entire design community for helping Clarke provide homeowners a singular experience when designing their very personal kitchens.
